This week for Maori language me, danielle and nevaeh made signs to go around the school. Like on a door we will write it in maori then we will write what it means in english after. We ended up accidentally making over 100 pieces of paper saying door.

This week one of our tasks was to do something on tract. Tract is a website where there are a bunch of tasks we can do for different topics like art, nature, cooking, business and more. If you finish a mission you get coins where you can spend your coins to feed a child, plant a tree and some other things. I did a illusion one where I had 3 different illusions I could try to draw. For tract this week I have been working on desert animals, and one of the 

missions I had was to name the main differences between the Bactrian 

camel and the Dromedary. Have you ever used tract before?

Bottle Rockets

 

Rockets 

In our class we made our own bottle rockets. The people in my group were Bijou, Nevaeh, Danielle, Summer, Zoe and Tara. We made it out of plastic bottles and ice-cream containers. Our first attempt went really high and it was really good but our teacher forgot to record it so this was our second attempt, which didn't go as high. I think we still did really good though and it cool watching it . Have you ever tried to make your own rocket before?

 Pinwheel vs wind turbine

We have been learning about wind so we having been making a miniature versions of a wind turbine and finding out how pinwheels are like wind turbines. Pinwheels are like wind turbines because the “blades” act as cups and capture the air so they can move with the power of the wind. 

Pinwheels and Wind turbines are quite similar in most ways. Wind turbines are just a lot bigger then pinwheels and made out of different materials.Have you ever made seen a wind turbine in real life before?

 Sitting at the front of the school
The bright hot sun shone over us as we sat on the bumpy hard concrete. I saw heaps of white vans zoom past us. BANG, I heard a cop banging on someones door but no one answered. Little tiny annoying bugs   kept on attacking me. My arm felt sore after slapping the bugs off my arm. A old man walked past with some cool black shades on. The sky was light blue with a few white fluffy clouds. I smelt the fresh air under my nose. Draco ran quickly from around the corner with this hair flying everywhere. I was ready to get off the rocky hard concrete.

The bright hot sun shone on us as they ran up to collect the cards. I smelt the fresh air surrounding me. My team members were Danielle, Jam, Nikora and Rangitunoa. As Jam was running back to our team, he fell straight on his face. Once Nikora got back to our team we realised we had been collecting the wrong cards. We were supposed to be getting spades but instead we were collecting clubs. After that I was 100% sure we were going to lose, Cars zoomed past as we played the game. The bright light blue sky had very few light blue fluffy clouds. I wondered when it was going to be over?
